Free Medication Mail Back
Morrow County Public Health is offering a free service for residents to dispose of expired, unwanted, or unused household medication. The program, which is operated by the Medication Education & Disposal Project (MED-Project), allows residents to order free, pre-paid packages to safely and conveniently dispose of household medications that are no longer needed.
You can request a free, pre-paid package for unwanted household medication three ways:

Stop by: Our Boardman or Heppner clinics to get a mail back bag.
Instructions for safe disposal are provided with each mail-back package. Home healthcare professionals providing services to residents may also request mail-back packages on their behalf.
Accepted Medications
Medications in any dosage form, in their original container or sealed bag, except for those identified as Not Accepted.
Medications Not Accepted
Herbal remedies, vitamins, supplements, other personal care products, emptied medical devices, batteries, mercury-containing thermometers, sharps, illicit drugs, pet pesticide products, animal medicines, and biologics.
