Patrol Deputy The position of Patrol Deputy requires the individual to be able to work any shift, any day, including weekends and holidays. Overtime and call outs may be required with very little notice. Individual should have a willingness to help citizens and businesses throughout the communities they serve. Communications Dispatcher Morrow County Sheriff's Office is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious person to join our center. As a Communications Deputy you will provide emergency dispatch services for Police, Fire and Medical. The Communications Deputies duties include operating the various communication systems located in the 9-1-1 center, answering incoming 911 telephone lines and other lines for dispatching police, fire, and ambulance. The Communication Deputy will also provide information to emergency services in the field, and relaying and recording information provided by patrol personnel.

Work Crew Lead Morrow County Sheriff's Office is looking for an individual to be the next Work Crew Lead. The Work Crew Lead shall work to restore crime victims and promote safe and secure communities, while performing within the framework of community/balanced and restorative justice. Typical duties performed (but not limited to) direct supervision of offenders; managing and intervening with offender behavior, transporting in custody and out of custody offenders to community worksites, providing instruction and supervision of offenders to ensure safe and productive work experience, developing and maintaining positive working relationship with community partners.
Pay Scale: $3,987 per month to $5,517 per month with excellent benefits |
Court Security The Court Security Deputy is a part-time position with primary responsibility to provide security for courtrooms and court facilities at the Morrow County Circuit Court in Heppner and Morrow County Justice Court in Irrigon. Deputies may also patrol in marked vehicles, answer calls for service, serve civil paper and transport prisoners. Deputies typically work 10 hour shifts on Thursdays at the Circuit Court in Heppner and eight hour shifts Wednesday and Thursday at the Justice Court in Irrigon.
Pay Scale: $3,515 per month to $4,862 per month with no benefits |
Morrow County employment package includes medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, retirement plan, health reimbursement plan. Non supervisory full-time Sheriff's Office employees are members of Teamster's Union Local 223.
