Public Notice of Town Hall Regarding New Circuit Court Building.

Morrow County will hold a Town Hall meeting on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 6:00 PM at the Bartholomew Building, Upper Conference Room located at 110 North Court Street, Heppner, OR. The County invites all interested parties to attend. A presentation on why the County and State are investing in this project along with discussion on the process for determining the location of the new Circuit Court Building will be reviewed. An outline on how design and construction will be handled going forward will also be discussed. County Administrator, Matt Jensen, will lead the presentation and take questions after a short presentation.

At their February 26, 2024 board meeting, Morrow County Health District voted against a compromise option that would allow the continuance of ambulance coverage by the District for Irrigon and the cities in the south part of the County. Statement Regarding Health District Ambulance and QRT Services

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: that on April 3, 2024, a Public Hearing will be held in the Bartholomew Building, Heppner, Oregon, to consider the enactment of Morrow County’s Ambulance Service Ordinance and Repealing Ordinance MC-C-4-98 (the “Ordinance”) under the authority of ORS 203.035, 203.045, 682.031, 682.062, and OAR 333-260-0000 to 333-260-0070.

The Morrow County Board of Commissioners is opening a 45-day public comment period pursuant to Title III of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000 (Public Law 110-343 as amended by Public Law 115-141). This comment period is required before the funds can be obligated and expended.

The Board of Commissioners is considering one (1) project proposed for FY2024 that meets the eligibility requirements for the use of Title III Funds:
