A public meeting of the Morrow County Board of Commissioners will be held on June 18, 2025 at 9:00 am at the Morrow County Government Center, Don Adams Conference Room at 215 NE Main Ave, Irrigon, Oregon.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025 as approved by the Morrow County Budget Committee.
Morrow County is in the process of gathering input from County residents to help create a plan for the future. This Long Range Strategic Planning project is meant to identify and prioritize projects to benefit the County and its residents.
Two public workshops are scheduled for June 10 and 11 in Boardman and Heppner and we also have an online survey for those who can't make it to a workshop. Please take a few minutes to respond to the survey and we hope to see you at one of the two public workshops.
The Oregon Wheat Foundation is bringing back the Oregon Wheat Growers League baking contests. This year’s contests will be in five selected counties and are open to anyone ages 7 and up. Thank you for your willingness to host the contests.
Community Action Program of East Central Oregon (CAPECO) is conducting a survey for a Community Needs Assessment. Responses are anonymous and provide information to help determine the underlying causes and conditions of poverty within the community they serve and identify the available resources to address the unmet needs of the community’s most vulnerable residents.
